Mobile Rescue Training

In the energy distribution network of NSW, specialised rescue training is certainly crucial. In fact, refresher courses for this training are mandatory if you want to gain or maintain employment in the network. At IAC Safety Services, we understand that not everybody is able to travel to major cities, for example, Sydney, Newcastle, or Port Macquarie for training. That’s where we come in, with our Mobile Rescue Training Unit (MrTU).

Increased accessibility to safety services training

The main benefit of MrTU is its ability to operate across the state. We like reaching smaller towns where participants would otherwise struggle to access comprehensive rescue training. By removing the need for long-distance travel, we certainly make safety services training easier. Individuals and businesses in remote areas can also acquire the essential skills needed to respond effectively to rescue situations. This increased accessibility ensures that no one is left behind when it comes to safety training.

Comprehensive course offerings

The MrTU ASP Rescue Refresher course encompasses all the units present in smaller courses. Some of these courses that also include rescue safety units include Refresher Crane & Plant or Perform LV/CPR in an ESI Environment. This comprehensive approach ensures that participants receive a thorough and well-rounded training experience, covering various rescue scenarios and techniques. So, when the MrTU rolls into your town, you may only need to complete certain units. Consequently, it all depends on the other courses that you’ve completed recently.

Tailored learning experience

Depending on the nature of your work, you may only need to refresh certain units each year. The MrTU offers the flexibility to tailor the training experience according to individual needs. By assessing the specific combination of units required for refreshment, you can also focus on the areas that are most relevant to your role. This tailored approach optimises the learning experience, ensuring you gain practical skills directly applicable to your work.

State-of-the-art equipment

The MrTU brings the necessary tools and equipment directly to the training site, ensuring that participants have access to a fully equipped truck. From Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs) to power poles, ladders, and CPR equipment, the unit ensures that participants have access to the latest safety gear and technology. Most importantly, this is a hands-on training experience, facilitated by state-of-the-art equipment. All participants are encouraged to develop proficiency in using specialised tools. Most importantly, this enhances their ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Expert safety services instruction

At IAC Safety Services, we take pride in providing expert instruction through experienced trainers who possess extensive knowledge and practical experience in the field of rescue training. Their expertise ensures that participants receive top-quality instruction, guidance, and feedback throughout the training process. Our trainers’ ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and techniques ensures that participants grasp the material and can apply it confidently in real-world scenarios.

Continuous professional development

Safety training is an ongoing process, and we recognise the importance of continuous professional development. By offering the MrTU ASP Rescue Refresher course, we ensure that participants meet the annual requirements set for Accredited Service Providers (ASPs). This commitment to professional development allows individuals to stay up to date with the latest safety protocols, ensuring a safer working environment for everyone involved in the NSW energy distribution network.
