Ausgrid Update (January 2025)
The Ausgrid ESR is only applicable to Level 2 ASPs.
Level 1 ASPs must complete their Ausgrid competencies directly through Ausgrid. Certification will not be issued by IAC to Level 1 ASPs.

New Codes for Refresher Units from 1st July 2024
The UET22 unit changes include:
UETDRMP005 (supersedes UETDRRF002) – Perform elevated work platform rescue
UETDRMP006 (supersedes UETDRRF003) – Perform pole top rescue
UETDRMP007 (supersedes UETDRRF004) – Perform rescue from a live low voltage panel
UETDRMP004 (supersedes UETTDRRF08) – Perform elevated work platform controlled descent escape
New 'Live Refresher Units' - Overhead & Underground
Two new competency units have been introduced for Level 1 ASPs working on live low voltage apparatus, from 1 July 2024 authorised persons must hold relevant units of competency to maintain their authorisation to work on the live low voltage network on Electricity distributor networks in NSW.
IAC Safety Services is now opening enrolment opportunities in UETDRMP012 for Line workers and UETDRMP013 for Cable Jointers. Successful completion of these units units will enable authorisation to undertake Live Low Voltage Linework and Cable jointing activities in NSW.
