    May 2020

The following training and assessment arrangements will be implemented for all students, effective as of the 12th May 2020.

    Initial studies

IAC Safety Services will resume students attending classes (face to face) for the following subjects:
    • Electricity Supply Industry New Workers; and
    •  Initial Crane and Plant; and
    •  Initial Electrical Safety Rules subjects at all of our facilities.
All evidence will still be gathered online via iPads which will be TT CEL supplied by IAC Safety Services at the venue. Both students and staff will be required to follow strict social distancing rules.

    Refresher studies

Refresher studies will continue to be conducted remotely with students studying online via trainer lead classes (i.e. students not attending the facilities to complete these components).
IAC Safety Services will cease issuing Statements of Education to students who undertake online studies remotely as this was a temporary arrangement implemented early in the COVID19 crisis.
Students will not be issued with their Statement of Attainment until they have successfully completed their online studies, have attend one of our facilities and have successfully demonstrated their practical competence in the subject(s) they are studying. This will occur obviously under strict social distancing rules.
If you have any issues or questions please phone us on 1300 887 317.
